Julie Boudreaux, LCSW will be joining Lee County goverment as the Director of Human and Veteran's Services in March. Julie has over 30 years of leadership experience working in both community non-profits and government. Julie is currently the CEO of Children’s Advocacy Center of SW FL (CAC), working with one of our community's most vulnerable populations of children who have been abused and neglected.
A few of her accomplishments include increasing revenue, expanding outreach/prevention services, and strengthening community partnerships. Prior to joining CAC, Julie was a Program Manager for Lee County Human and Veteran Services for 12 years. She managed programs working with youth in the juvenile justice system, neighborhood revitalization, the homeless continuum of care, and administering federal funds.
Julie began her management career at SalusCare, where for 14 years she supervised several programs for children and families, including behavioral health and child welfare services, working her way up to Director of Family Services. Julie has been a member of numerous committees to enhance social services in the Lee County community. Julie is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a Bachelor’s degree from Penn State and Master's degree from Temple University in Social Work.
She lives in Fort Myers and is married with four children.
